If you plan on installing and running Profound AI on your local computer, be sure to have [Node.js installed](https://nodejs.org/en/download) before installing a Profound AI instance in the Profound Installer. 

If installing and running Profound AI on a remote server, be sure you can connect via SSH and have [Node.js installed](https://nodejs.org/en/download).  You can find info on SSH for different operating systems [here](https://profoundlogicsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PUI/pages/164529492/Requirements+and+Prerequisites+for+Target+Systems).
